It is also located near the historical forts and famous fish fry in downtown Nassau.
This 66 step walkway was carved out of limestone between the years of 1793 and 1794 by 600 slaves. Its purpose was to be an escape route from the fort that is located above. It was named after Queen Victoria who ruled in Britain between the years of 1837 and 1901 and signed a declaration to abolish slavery during her reign.
This stunning attraction is definitely worth the visit when you are in Nassau!
